Accommodation

A limited number of rooms have been reserved on behalf of participants in several hotels and University of Ottawa Residences located in downtown Ottawa and in the vicinity of The Westin Ottawa Hotel and the Canadian Government Conference Centre. Please note that The Westin Ottawa Hotel is the Conference Headquarters hotel.

Reservations must be made individually directly with the hotel either by completing the appropriate Accommodation Form and faxing it directly to the hotel or where applicable, reservations can also be made directly online to a specific hotel. Please note that in order to secure your hotel reservation, you must enter your credit card information, however no charges will apply until your stay. All selected hotels are within walking distance from the Conference venue (map).

Reservations should be made no later than June 1, 2009 to take advantage of the special rates negotiated for the Conference. Requests received after this date will still be accepted, but on a space and rate availability basis only. All hotel prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars, per room, per night. Rates are subject to applicable taxes and destination marketing fees. After that date, the Conference room blocks will be released and hotel may charge higher rates.

You are reminded to reserve your accommodation early. July is a peak tourist season in Ottawa.
